The press recording stays on ...
Leg Wohnen NRW: Lord of Lacquerum Schippert across the lake, while Ms. F. falls - the scandalous conditions in Westerbruchstrasse and the silence of those responsible
Moers/Duisburg/NRW. - While Lars von Lackum, owner of LEG Wohnen NRW GmbH, sails and laughs on a sunny lake in his homeland Duisburg (see photo), the reality looks very different for many tenants. Above all, the situation of Ms. F. at Westerbruchstrasse 57 in Moers is shocking and symptomatic for the approach of the housing company.
A chronology of failure:
The PRESSEKOMPASS NRW has reported several times since [date of the first inquiry] about the intolerable conditions at Westerbruchstrasse 57 and 59 in Moers. Despite repeated inquiries to LEG Wohnen and Mr. von Lackum personally, there was no response. The states include:
- Neglection and security deficiencies: The residential buildings are characterized by littering and lack of maintenance. Residents report considerable security defects.
- Questionable renovation work: During renovation work at Westerbruchstraße 57, underage forces were presumably used.
- Refusal barrier -free living space: Despite her old age and physical impairment, Ms. F. was denied a barrier -free ground floor apartment. Instead, this apartment was rented to another person, while Ms. F. continues to live under unreasonable conditions.
– Abnormal electricity costs and possible electricity theft: Ms. F. has been paying excessive electricity costs for years, which suggests a defect in the house's electrical system or even electricity theft.
The F. case: A reflection of LEG policy
The fate of Ms. F. is a terrifying example of the priorities of LEG. Instead of taking care of the well -being of their tenants, the company seems to be primarily concerned with maximizing profits. The LEG lives advertises with sustainably renovated apartments, but in reality older and needy tenants are simply ignored.
Mockery and ignorance: The LEG's reaction
When Ms. F. suffered injuries due to a fall on the sidewalk of Westerbruchstrasse (see photo), leg reacted with bare cynicism. Mr. Mirko Pommerenke, Head of Customer Service of the Leg branch Duisburg, commented on the injury with the words: "A fisse bump has her mother, but the sidewalks of Westerbruchstrasse 57 in Moers is ok and in no way fondly". In addition, a voucher was promised for a bouquet of flowers, but it never arrived - a further humiliation for Ms. F.
Disposed basement during hospital stay
Particularly perfidious: While Ms. F. was in the hospital, her basement room, in which she stored her wheelchair, walkers and personal items, was allegedly accidentally cleared out and disposed of on Mr. Pommerenke's instructions. To date, LEG has not apologized.
The plan of Mr. von Lackum: Thrown out by all means?
The suspicion arises that LEG Wohnen and Mr. von Lackum personally are doing everything they can to force Ms. F. out of the house. We are appalled at the way an almost 90-year-old woman is being treated.
Duisburg is not an isolated case: scrap properties all over NRW
Moers is by no means an isolated case. There are also junk properties owned by LEG Wohnen in Duisburg and other cities in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond, in which tenants have to live under unreasonable conditions. LEG Wohnen and Lars von Lackum appear to have established a system in which the interests of tenants are systematically ignored.
Rental price increases despite unreasonable conditions
Despite the catastrophic conditions, LEG continues to increase rents in Westerbruchstrasse and other objects. An incredible cheek!
The PRESS COMPASS stays tuned!
We at PRESSEKOMPASS NRW are staying on this case and will continue to report on the machinations of LEG Wohnen. We wish the LEG and Mr. von Lackum continued “good luck” in gutting and exploiting people – knowing full well that this “success” is based on the backs of the weakest.
Note: The Press Crop NRW has again asked Mr. von Lackum and LEG Wohnen for an opinion. No reaction has been carried out so far.
