What does creativity mean to you? How do you define it? What inspires you to be creative?
"Creativity in Tabitha Eve's world can mean many things, from designing an item for a specific purpose to finding the perfect organic fabric to finding the best way to reuse it. I don't think you can define creativity, everyone is so different."
Where do you live at the moment? What does your city offer you as a doer? Are there other places in the world that inspire you, why?
"I'm currently living in Somerset, having moved from Cardiff just before Christmas. I was bought out in the country and it was always my dream to move back closer to the beach and live in a more rural setting. However, Cardiff is a great place to be as a maker, they have the Cardiff Indie Collective and a real flair for supporting local businesses. Today and throughout my childhood, beach life is mine every day Inspiration. When I see the ocean or walk on the sand and see trash, it reminds me why I do what I do.”

How did you get into this industry? What was your first job?
"I came into this industry through my own passion for the environment, I'm a diver so I've experienced the waste pollution and plastic problem first hand. My background was in the financial services industry and I made reusable products while on maternity leave and never went back to the business world."
Why is it important for consumers to continue to seek out mindful and inclusive brands? What can you do to further support them?
"I believe you get back what you put into life. This includes finding brands that align with your values. Often these brands aren't big names or stocked in supermarkets so you have to make an effort to find them, but the reward is always better than a mass-produced product and you can help the real local economy! I believe it's so important to seek out and buy from small indie brands - it's good for them Soul and it makes a real difference to people, rather than just another pound in a multinational company’s pocket.”
Why is mindful and sustainable production important?
"For our world! This precious planet cannot sustain current manufacturing practices, each of us has this responsibility."

Finish these sentences: “Always…” and “NeveR…”
“Ahh, I do this with my kids every night like a little mantra.Always be kind to yourself, others and the planet.Never forget your values or who you are.”
What does yoga mean to you? What is your favorite pose? What are your other favorite ways to exercise or exercise alone or with family/friends?
"Yoga to me means time for myself: time to reflect, recharge, clear and focus my mind, and listen to my body. My favorite pose is Child's Pose - it's easy and grounding for me. I'm so happy to be surrounded by a landscape where we are, and we love exploring it and seeing how the landscape changes weekly and from season to season."
Favorite Yogamatters product(s)? Why?
“Aside from the Tabitha Eve range, I really LOVE the Eco Cork mats and the whole thing (link removed).”
What is your work uniform? What do you wear when you're not at work?
"I usually wear leggings and a loose-fitting t-shirt. Comfort is always key for me, both in and out of work. The only difference for me is that I rarely wear shoes outside of the studio!"
What gives you energy and keeps you recharged?
"I assume you mean no coffee! Honestly, yoga is my go-to. Nothing strenuous, a gentle full-body stretch can really reset my mind and attitude. I can really notice the difference in my energy when I don't exercise for a few days."
Favorite movie, book, app, podcast, game at the moment? You can list one or more!
"Movie: I don't really watch much TV, except during our family movie night. Most recently we watched the children's film Luca, which I LOVED because of its message of inclusivity. Book:The night circusby Erin Morgenstern. Game: Avocado Smash. It's an energetic game for the whole family. We love it!”
