Melt 3 tablespoons in a large saucepan. Add butter over medium heat, then add onions. Fry the onions delicately before spinach, parsley and basil are added. Reduce the heat and cover 10 minutes. Stir in the chicken broth and sugar, then slowly add the cream. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Melt the remaining butter in a separate pot over medium heat. Add the flour and stir constantly for at least 2 minutes. Pour a little herb soup over the flour and mix until it is smooth. Take off the stove and pour the flour mix over the soup.
