Fate or choice? How Aromatherapy Reveals Your True Self

Fate or choice? How Aromatherapy Reveals Your True Self
In my last article I mentioned that my client was recovering from over 10 years of anxiety - she experienced heart palpitations when walking to a lower elevation location. The heart palpitations problem made her unable to drive, not even having the courage to start the car engine. The problem was solved with an aromatherapy inhaler. She regained her confidence after trying the inhaler. The recovery process took two months. There were complications during this time, possibly due to the fact that she had previously had breast cancer.
While using aromatherapy, she ate the wrong food, which caused stomach pain. Fluid was leaking from her wounds. This symptom persisted for a month with no sign of improvement. I asked her to seek medical advice but she refused.
I gave her another inhaler to ease her anxiety. After three days of inhaling (three times a day), miracles began to happen. Her pain was completely stopped and there was no sign of fluid leaking from her wounds. At the same time, her fear seemed to subside. Her heart palpitations disappeared. She tried to drive for the first time in several years. I advised her to take a driving course, but she decided against it.
The inhaler I made for her includes [the formulation is adapted from Butje (2014) (1)]::
5 drops of rose(Rose Damascene)
5 drops of orange(Citrus sinensis)
5 drops of patchouli(Pogostemom Cablin)
According to Battaglia (2003) (2), the therapeutic properties of the combination are as follows:
Rose is connected to the heart. It is emotionally healing and good for people with heart palpitations. It is also very calming for those who experience restlessness, irritation and anxiety. Orange is emotionally uplifting; it can move the stuck energy. Its calming nature can be used to calm people suffering from anxiety. Patchouli has a grounding, calming and calming effect. It can relieve a person's tension and worries.
She told me that the inhaler was similar to the Chinese medicine “Yunnan Bai Yao” because it helped her heal the wound. In fact, she re-injured her wound before it was fully healed, causing pain. She used the inhaler several times and that stopped the pain. Since it is not conclusive to say that the inhaler is a version of “Yunnan Bai Yao,” further research needs to be done to validate it.
I made this inhaler to relieve her anxiety without exploring the other features. During her healing process, I discovered that inhaling essential oils can help relieve pain (Aromahead 2013) (3). The oils were able to heal the wound without being applied topically.
Your future looks better now. I saw that she had no desire to change her lifestyle. She envies my lifestyle as my husband supports my endeavors financially and logistically. She expects her husband to support her as much as my husband does. I suggested her to consult a psychologist to find the best option for her life.
After their recovery, the complexion of their faces glowed. She used to have black spots, but now they are mostly gone. Her skin became moister, fairer and healthier - an indication that she is in better health than before.
To help her calm her “unlimited” desires, I made her an inhaler as follows [the formulation is adapted from Chan (2015) (4)]:
2 drops of clary sage(Salvia scleria)
5 drops of cardamom(Elettaria cardamom)
5 drops of incense(Boswellia carteri)
Battaglia (2003) mentions the therapeutic properties of the above combination in his book:
Cardamom is a tonic for the nervous system. I chose this oil because the client has chronic anxiety that consumes a lot of energy. It is also a cephalic that allows my clients to think clearly. Clary sage is a general tonic for the body, bringing calm to the nervous system.
I hope that her mind clears up, that she has the motivation to start a new life, and that her emotional wound is healed.
After using the above oils for three days, her voice became very clear. She could express herself clearly and vividly. I discovered that she was biased towards expensive items and she wanted rose essential oil and nothing else. However, I encouraged her to try this inhaler as it would help him sleep better. Our body will heal our ailments when it is at rest. When we are sick or have emotional problems, we may not be able to sense the right thing because our perception is distorted. Since I'm not the psychiatrist, I can't diagnose whether she's completely healed or not. What I can say is that her life has returned to normal.
I have used this on people with epilepsy or PTSD to relieve their nasal congestion or breathing problems. The feedback was very positive. It improved their emotions and helped them clear their overload and stuck energy.
How far can aromatherapy go to heal? The truth is that it is only part of the integration process. Teamwork and combined resources must be considered in healing protocols. It's always tempting to expect more, but sometimes less is better. In some cases, it works better if we refer the client to another healthcare provider. The story of her recovery continues, but who will be responsible for his or her own life if he or she leaves it to fate?
