The philosophy of regeneration and its three principles
The Chinese people's study and understanding of thousands of herbs and the determination of their effects on the human body spans more than 5,000 years. The philosophy of regeneration was formulated to emphasize what the body needs to restore itself to health.
Rather than focusing on specific ailments, symptoms, treatments or remedies, the focus of the Chinese philosophy of regeneration is on strengthening and protecting the body against the constant barrage of external influences and pollutants. When the body is strong and balanced, it will fight off illness and disease and heal itself as it should.
Principle 1. Your body has the innate ability to create balance, order and health when the body is provided with proper nutrition and toxins are removed from the body.
Principle 2. Proper nutrition should come from a wide variety of whole foods. Most vitamins and minerals on the market today are not whole foods. Although they may come from a plant, when they come out of the lab they are chemical isolates, not a whole food. In addition, the popular juices on the market today also do not meet this requirement.
Principle 3. You must be willing to take responsibility for your health.
The bottom line is that every day we are either getting healthier or sicker on the path to disease. This means we are building health or creating disease in our bodies. The good news is that we can choose which direction we want to go.
The cells in our body are constantly being replaced, and based on our daily lifestyle choices and habits, these new cells can be either healthy or unhealthy. There is no in-between.
So if we don't eat the right food and cleanse and detoxify our bodies regularly, these new cells become weaker and weaker until they reach a diseased state. This means that our health, or lack thereof, is in our hands - not our doctor's or anyone else's!
