- aromatherapy. aromatherapy uses plant extracts that are known as essential oils, and other fragrant connections to relax and balance the body. An example of aromatherapy is eucalyptus oil and mint that are used to relieve the airways in a cold or flu.
- ayurveda. ayurveda assumes that various materials of vegetable, animal and mineral origin have a certain medical value for healing diseases and/or for preserving good health. Ayurveda has its origin in India and is based on philosophy that diseases occur if they do not live harmoniously in their environment.
- meditation. meditation is a relaxation technique that is used to reduce and relieve disease symptoms such as headache, back pain and high blood pressure.
