This is the final segment of my two-part article (Aloe Vera – Is It Just a Laxative?) about the aloe vera plant, which for many years was incorrectly viewed as just a strong laxative. Aloe Vera is indeed one of nature's most powerful medicinal herbs. Along with its ability as an effective and natural weight loss agent, it is also a powerful and healthy detoxifier. Aloe Vera as a Detoxifier: Aloe Vera also has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties against a wide range of microbes.

Aloe Vera - Is it just a laxative (Part II)?

This is the final segment of my two-part article (Aloe Vera – Is It Just a Laxative?) about the aloe vera plant, which for many years was incorrectly viewed as just a strong laxative. Aloe Vera is indeed one of nature's most powerful medicinal herbs. Along with its ability as an effective and natural weight loss agent, it is also a powerful and healthy detoxifier.

Aloe Vera as a detoxifier:

Aloe Vera also has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties against a wide range of microbes. Carrisyn, an extract of aloe vera, has recently shown evidence that it can inhibit a number of viruses “in vitro,” including the strains responsible for herpes simples, measles and HIV. Carrisyn appears to stimulate the immune system to trigger the production of blood cells that fight infections, thereby boosting immune function.

The amino acids methionine, serine, threonine and molybdenum are useful. They detoxify heavy metals, contribute to the proper metabolism of carbohydrates, fat and protein, thereby preventing the accumulation of fat in the liver and arteries.

These laxative and detoxifying properties of aloe vera help the colon work most efficiently. Highly processed and refined foods common in today's diet have no fiber and pass through the system slowly, allowing toxins in waste to be reabsorbed into the body. However, with aloe vera therapy, food passes through the system more quickly and easily. Less obvious problems due to an inefficient colon such as lack of energy, breathing problems, bad breath, non-cystic acne and dry skin are also avoided.

Aloe Vera helps expel excess water in the cells. Therefore, it is helpful for many kidney problems such as kidney stones and painful urination. It works wonders for people with kidney failure.

One of the main reasons for hair loss is the toxin in the small intestine. Thus, toxins removed by aloe vera help to resolve this problem.

Aloe vera for diabetes:

Many studies have shown that regular consumption of aloe vera results in a reduction in blood sugar levels without blood chemistry causing toxic effects on kidney or liver function. Aloe vera helps tone the pancreas and thus regulates insulin flow.

Aloe Vera accelerates the healing of diabetic wounds. It dramatically reduces inflammation and improves pain response.

Aloe Vera for digestive problems:

Aloe Vera helps treat indigestion, irritable cup syndrome, ulcerative colitis, esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, chronic colon problems such as constipation, hemorrhoids, colitis and Crohn's disease. It helps in removing excess acid and cough.

Aloe Vera for allergies:

Aloe vera is a rich source of vitamins E and C. These help to greatly strengthen the immune system. Therefore, it is an ideal solution for many common allergies such as colds, asthma. Serine maintains a healthy immune system. Aspartic acid increases endurance.

Aloe Vera in old age:

Aloe Vera is one of the most powerful sources of antioxidants, vitamins E and C, and vitamin B-12 (only known natural source). Recent studies show the remarkable benefits of antioxidants. Oxidation in cells can damage DNA, sometimes leading to cancer, other diseases and the changes associated with aging. The antioxidants counteract the aging effects of free radicals.

Other properties of the Aloe Vera principle:

Other active ingredients in the aloe vera plant include salicylates, which control inflammation and pain, and an enzyme that inhibits bradykinin, the chemical messenger responsible for transmitting pain signals through nerves. Aloe vera also contains magnesium lactate, a chemical known to inhibit the release of histamines, which are responsible for skin irritation and itching.

Aloe Vera is therefore rightly called “The Miracle Herb” due to its many medicinal and useful properties.

When choosing an aloe vera product for topical use, look for a product high in aloe vera, which should appear as the first item in the ingredients panel.

In summary Aloe Vera:

  7. Hilft den Blutzucker zu stabilisieren
  8. Hat keine bekannten Nebenwirkungen

Scientific evidence therefore proves that Aloe Vera is the herb of choice for a clean and healthy lifestyle. It has the potential to reverse the adverse effects of all pollutants we are exposed to, including saturated fat and toxic byproducts of industrialization and automobile emissions.
