Healthy nutritional recipe for a quick meal

In the heat of summer and the fact that we have for longer days, we often want to eat something easy and later in the evening. Ideally, a quick simple dinner and a simple healthy dinner. Here is a healthy food recipe for a quick meal.

This healthy recipe is based on one of my favorite marinades and is a quick, simple dinner that can be prepared for 1 or more people (if they are entertaining). What I did at the beginning of this week was to prepare halibut on brown and wild rice, mixed with dates and to serve green beans. This simple, healthy dinner was prepared in no time.

The ingredients for this fast meal are:

1 portion of halibut

brown rice

wild rice

appointments

green beans

To start this quick, easy dinner, marinate the halibut in a bowl with equal parts olive oil, balsamic vinegar (2 tablespoons) and one or two cloves of garlic. Brush the halibut with it and put the fish in the fridge for about two hours.

In the meantime, note the cooking instructions on the back of the packs for the wild rice and the whole grain rice and cook both types of rice separated. When I made this recipe for healthy food, I used 1/4 cup of wild rice and 1 cup of brown rice.

As soon as both types of rice are cooked, mix them together and add chopped dates. Make sure you check the data for nuts. Let the heat of both types of rice heat the chopped dates. Set the rice aside.

As soon as the halibut is marinated, cook the fish in the oven until it is tender and scaly, but not raw in the middle. So that this becomes a really fast dinner, buy freshly frozen green beans and heat it over the stove while preparing the halibut.

When the rice has cooled, you can put it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up again. Put the rice on your plate, then put the cooked halibut on it and then the cooked green beans to your side, and you already have a quick, simple dinner with a healthy recipe.

I like to save even more time when cooking dinner in summer and often prepare my combination series in advance and cool it. I make a few portions and then take it out for this dish or another quick meal that I can cook during the week.
