-Responsibility is key and caring for yourself by putting thoughts and actions into action. Educate yourself in this lifelong process, while learning to differentiate is another key. So here are my top 11 health tips for a healthy diet and lifestyle. I would highly recommend incorporating these tips into your health strategies.

1. Eat lots of raw vegetables

A raw food diet allows you to get the full nutritional benefits from your food. With such foods, the vitamins and enzymes are not denatured (deformed) by radiation, heat or freezing and can therefore participate effectively in the body's metabolism...

2. Avoid eating too much at once

Eating in moderate amounts throughout the day can help normalize your insulin levels. Intermittent fasting also helps with insulin levels. Both situations can help maintain or lose weight due to insulin normalization.

3. Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy fats

Don't fall for the marketing hype; You need high quality fats as part of an essential diet. For example, contrary to what has been said, saturated fats are good for you. An excellent example of a good, healthy saturated fat is coconut oil, which has several health benefits.

4. Choose organic

Organic food is not loaded with chemicals like the non-organic option. It is non-GMO and has higher nutritional value…

5. Avoid GMOs

GMO foods have potentially harmful effects due to their “toxic genes,” containing a range of chemicals used as herbicides, fungicides, pesticides and fertilizers… which not only affect nutritional value but can also cause potential harm.

Some GMO fruits are known to contain 30 times more fructose than organic fruits.

6. Alkalize your body

Eat foods that help increase your body's pH for a healthier option.

7. Avoid junk food

With next to nothing (or no) nutritional value, these toxic, sugary, high-salt foods have the effect of causing a whole host of health problems. Learn to recognize this.

8. Drink lots of good, clean, filtered or natural water

Providing the body with plenty of water offers numerous health benefits.

9. Aim to get about 15-30 minutes of direct sunlight daily

If not available, say in winter, then try vitamin D3 tablets. About 5000 IU per day is enough...

10. Exercise for about 15-20 minutes a day

There is some excellent information that can be found online that explains the health benefits of exercise and why it is needed.

11. Have a generally optimistic/cheerful outlook on life

Remember thoughts, feelings and emotions… your attitude in life manifests reality. Keep a close eye on how you view life and make the necessary changes when necessary.
