We talk to the founder Rachel Kelly about what makes London a center for creativity and sustainability, how to make things mindful and how they prefer to arouse inspiration in a busy week.
What does creativity mean for you? How do you define it? What inspires you to be creative?
"For me, creativity means expressing the beautiful things that inspire me in everyday life. I am inspired by art, nature and the incredible women around me."
Where do you live at the moment? How did that change during the pandemic, if at all? What does your city offer you as a maker?
"I live with my husband and my children in North London. London is a flourishing city that is a center for inspiring fashion. It is great to see that more and more sustainable initiatives are being implemented. It was sad for everyone how the city was closed during the pandemic, so it was a great feeling to be united with our team in the office again."

"Sydney, Australia, as this is the source of the beginnings of Thought!"
How did you get into this industry? What was your first job?
"I previously produced hemp shirts and worked as a junior buyer."
Why is it important for consumers to continue looking for careful and integrative brands? What can you do to support you further?
"It is about recognizing that even small changes can make a big difference and this conscious effort to make more intelligent decisions. Here at Thought we are constantly looking for exciting brands that do great things in the area of sustainability to present them on our website."
Why is careful and sustainable production important?
"It is so important to find a procedure that minimizes the negative environmental impact and at the same time protects energy and natural resources. Sustainable production also improves the security of employees, the community and the products. We ensure that our production corresponds to the highest ethical standards, so we always look for new ways and processes that ensure that we will fulfill this and I see that this will continue."

"A positive way to focus my mind and a form of exercise."

"happy baby."

"I ride a bike every day and as a mother of two children I love nothing more than the weekend with my loved ones."

What is your work uniform? What do you wear if you are not at work?
"I always dress comfortably for work, so I love an oversized dress, statement accessories and a good trench coat. On weekends I often live in our Thought Lounge Wear, Bio-T-Shirts and Golden Goose Sneakers."
What gives you energy and keeps you charging?
"I love what I do, so the work always keeps me with energy. I love nothing more than a few hours with a good book and a homemade meal with my family to refuel
