We would like to learn more about who they are. Can you tell us something about yourself and your activities?
I am the proud daughter of Ecuadorian immigrants born in the USA who were looking for the American dream. I adopted London as at home with my soul mate 15 years ago and together we have three funny and lively teenagers who enjoy cooking big family meals and taking long walks through London's beautiful parks with our dog.
I am also the founder of Women’s Body Wisdom, a teacher of embodied yoga, somatic movement and breathing work Nutrition / lifestyle coach and writer. My business holistically supports the hormonal health of women in the natural transition from perimenopause, menopause to post menopause. I am enthusiastic about leading women to connect with their bodies and taking responsibility for their hormonal health and live their complete potential. I am enthusiastic about strengthening women to really know their body so that they can be the best lawyers for their health and well-being. My courses often provide women about areas of women's health that have traditionally been overlooked or ignored, such as: B. pelvic floor and bone health, mental and emotional well-being. My lessons is inspired by the precision of the orientation, the synchronization of breath and movement, the calming power of Meditation and the journey inside for our perceived experience. My courses and workshops aim to treat many of the most common symptoms that women have in menopause. Above all, they are an exploration of the unique journey of every woman for self -discovery. The wellness retreats of my women are about relaxing and getting resources from the inside and hugging our self, body and soul. We gather as women to expand our connection area, to honor our wisdom, to raise each other and to support each other on our unique path to perimenopause, menopause and beyond. I offer cooking demonstrations and nutritional talks for hormone support, whereby the focus is on delicious vegetable meals for optimal health. We take the time to rest and think in a beautiful natural environment. women feel better informed and can regain the natural intelligence of their body in order to get to menopause and beyond. Yoga offered me his rich and traditional teachings, which I would like to take off the mat and put it into daily practice. They gave the present, the truth, the kindness, compassion and deep love for myself and the world around me are invaluable and I share them with my students and my family. Yoga has been my constant companion for 22 years and offers me grounding, clarity and strength, while I have traveled around the world in a busy professional career and then went to pregnancy, motherhood and now in the menopause. My lessons are characterized by my personal healing trip to overcome stress, anxiety, autoimmune diseases and to control the transition to menopause. By deepening my knowledge about somatic body and breathing exercises and retraining as a nutrition therapist, I was able to offer the women who teach and work a holistic 360-degree approach for health and well-being. Yes, like many other yoga teachers and nutrition therapists, I had to put my work online and learn a new way of connection with people in a virtual space. I have the feeling that my life was enriched by finding new ways to support others in their health and well -being. I am currently offering online courses on somatic movement and pelvic floor health for women who can find here. I also took the opportunity to study and deepen my learning with international experts in women's health and neurosciences. I am particularly interested in the interface of neurosciences, yoga and emotional well -being for personal and collective self -care. I look forward to offering workshops and retreats that involve these areas of science and yoga so that women can feel comfortable in their body.
