Most of us want a healthy, active lifestyle. And if we commit to some gradual long-term lifestyle changes, we can significantly improve our health, activity and lifestyle. After over 25 years in the health and nutrition business, Herbalife knows a thing or two about healthy eating and has combined that with its knowledge of active lifestyles to create its new Healthy Active Lifestyle program. Herbalife's 6-Point Plan is designed to help everyone be healthier and better by making these 6 points part of everyday life.

1.Good nutrition every dayfrom a balanced and varied diet. This means the right balance and amount of macronutrients and micronutrients that meet your needs depending on your age, gender, life stage, body composition, activity level and your own goals. Your goals may be weight management, weight control, weight gain, weight loss, increased energy, or athletic fitness goals.

2.Eat medium-sized, balanced and nutritious meals and snacksthroughout the day to regulate energy levels and replenish nutrients. A balanced nutrition plan should provide your body with balanced amounts of energy, vitamins, minerals, good carbohydrates, plant proteins, healthy fats and valuable fiber, herbs and antioxidants. A healthy eating plan supported by Herbalife products involves eating a variety of foods, but all in moderation.

3.Eat colorful fruits and vegetables every day,7 servings of colorful, fresh fruits and vegetables per day for nutritional and antioxidant benefits. The greater the variety of colors in your fruits and vegetables, the greater the range of micronutrients you consume. If this is difficult, perhaps consider taking a quality supplement to meet your body's needs.

4.Drink waterTo stay hydrated, aim for 2 liters of water daily, or about 8 glasses of water per day. Water straight or, if you prefer, in herbal teas or sugar-free/low-sugar fruit juices. Try to drink throughout the day rather than drinking all your fluids at one time of day, say in the morning. Good hydration is important for health, nutritional intake and weight control.

5.Treat yourself to regular exercise, rest and relaxation. This should include at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day, 5 days per week. The type of exercise you do depends on you and your current fitness level and lifestyle. Housework or gardening could be your 30 minutes every day, but do it continuously, don't stop. Or your exercise could be a training workout. Plus sleep is all important, sleep at least 7 hours a night.

6. If you still smoke,stop smoking. And limit alcohol consumption to a maximum of one glass per day.
