Importance of the Nutrition Health Wellness Triangle in our lives

When it comes to nutrition and health, contrary to what most people think, life is not about living and dying; it is not measured by absolute life and death. Rather, it is measured on a spectrum of health - a spectrum of health in which one side of the extreme is death and the other is that of healthy well-being, not just the living. So, based on this spectrum of health and health, we can say that the healthier you are, the further you are from death. But even if health deterioration over time is inevitable (at least practically, but not theoretically), there are still things we can do with our lifestyles and habits to slow down health deterioration in various ways – or rather, in many ways that need to be integrated. Some of these ways to improve nutrition, health and wellness include appropriate physical activity, a healthy psychological disposition and a carefully planned diet, the final focus being below.

Why is eating right crucial for health, nutrition, wellness and longevity? Our body is nourished and maintained through the use of various chemicals, mainly oxygen, hydrogen and carbon, along with some other required elements like calcium, iron, zinc etc. All these can only be obtained through food and drink or in the form of supplements in other words, through food, except oxygen which can be obtained through breathing. These chemicals promote and help both our mind and body functions, so we can say that nutrition is the foundation and cornerstone of the health triangle. This is because without proper nutrition, the body cannot have the form of energy it needs to use its movements, hindering the possibility of adequate physical exercise or wellness activity and thus affecting health.

On the psychological side, without the proper nutrition that the mind requires, a person would not be capable of higher psychological processes, so the need for a healthy psychological disposition is also far from achievement. However, when it comes to one's diet and health, it is important to note that scientists also accept the idea that the mind, particularly a person's consciousness, is capable of overwriting its own design. Although this may be true, the contribution of proper food intake to increasing our own nutrition-health-wellness triangle is undeniable.
