Do something for your health: do yoga!
The World Yoga Day on June 21st reminds us of what yoga can do for us-our body, our mind and our soul-
yoga is old for thousands of years, but by no means dusty!
On the contrary, you can practice holistic health care with yoga - i.e. do something good for your mind, soul and your body.Most people who make yoga promise less back pain. Which also applies. After all, the diverse movements, also called Asanas, have a beneficial and strengthening effect on back, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Even someone who does not yet have "back" can prevent prophylactically with yoga.
However, Yoga has a lot more than preventing and fixing back problems. It is regularly practiced a holistic method for promoting health with many positive effects on our mind, our soul and our bodies.
Even stress can be dismantled with this method!
You wonder how that should work? Quite simply: The combination of gentle movements with the breath reduce blood pressure, heart rate and muscle tension (which are always increased when stressed) and also cortisol (the stress hormone number 1!) And adrenaline (another hormone that is increased during stress). This has been proven in various scientific studies and is a reason why health insurance companies recognize yoga curmos as health care.

- better mobility and an improved body feeling
- an increased well -being
- a stronger resilience compared to work stress
- improved focus and concentration ability
- a reduction in fears and depression
- an improved sleep rhythm
If you practice yoga regularly, you have other advantages: Then higher amounts of the neurotransmitter serotonin are continuously released. This hormone is responsible for feelings of serenity, inner calm and satisfaction and also inhibits the distribution of cortisol, i.e. the number 1 stress hormone! The result: You not only break down stress, you even prevent stress!
