Qivana is a relatively new MLM company, founded in early 2009. They entered the health and wellness industry with a different perspective than most health-related MLM companies. Qivana approaches health with the goal of first detoxifying and cleansing the body and then administering Chinese herbs and minerals.
Qivana appointed well-known naturopathic doctor Dr. Marcus Laux as Chief Science Officer and put together a scientific advisory board consisting of world-renowned doctors and scientists.
Dr. Marcus Laux had aspired to be a conventional doctor early in his career, but in 1986, when a cardiologist who made a fatal decision treating his father knew that conventional medicine would not be his forte.
Shortly thereafter, during his time before medical school, his observations about the use of chemicals in hospitals and money-hungry doctors only reinforced his thought process, so he decided to become a naturopathic doctor. Dr. Laux learned early on that naturopathy is by far the safest and most comprehensive natural approach to practicing medicine in humans.
After ten years. in College & Med School, fifteen years. in private practice & over twenty years Dr. Laux came to this conclusion because naturopathy only looks beyond the symptoms and instead looks for sources of problems.
Qivana was very lucky to have Dr. Laux, but since the company's philosophy was also based on promoting balance, detoxification and strength, this was primarily a match made in heaven. Dr. Laux had worked with several other large companies, but Qivana had the potential to be so much more, he thought.
