Ozondiscolysis - Overview of ozone therapy in medical treatments
Ozone dicolysis is a new treatment developed by Italian spine surgeons. Although it is a relatively new treatment, its effectiveness has already been proven in approximately thousands of patients around the world. This treatment is considered naturopathic because it is painless and is carried out on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. Although its use is similar to that of natural remedies, its results are similar to the positive results of surgery. Ozone discolysis has great positive effects on the people on whom it is performed because ozone has many properties that help cure a number of medical problems. It has indeed proven to be of great help in curing a number of critical medical problems, making it very popular among doctors.
Ozone works best on the intervertebral disc and also on the tissue surrounding the intervertebral disc. This entire process occurs by mummifying the disc, colonizing the inflammatory nociceptors, stimulating the fibroblasts and immunosuppressive cytokines, and improving microcirculation and oxygenation. These are the four biochemical actions that ozone performs on the intervertebral disc to cure the nerve enlargement problem. The treatment is carried out in three steps - first the ozone injections are carried out into the paravertebral muscles, then ozone into the dysfunctional intervertebral disc and then the ozone injection into the paravertebral muscles.
So how does ozone work? Well, when this powerful oxidant is injected into the paravertebral muscle, it produces a series of oxidizing enzymes. This, in turn, helps neutralize the toxin byproducts that cause the nerves to dilate. It is considered a natural remedy to treat the problem of nerve compression. In general, the effects of the treatment are positive and it helps to reduce the problem of increased hard drive volume. Therefore, it is a good substitute for surgical methods to treat nerve swelling. Furthermore, there are no after-effects or complications with this process. Ozone discolysis does not change the anatomy of the body like surgery and is not a complex process at all; therefore, it is highly preferred. But here too there are some diseases such as fauvism and hyperthryrodism for which ozone treatment is absolutely not advisable.
The success rate of medical ozone treatment is quite high, about 80-90% and there is almost no procedural complications that can affect the smooth functioning of a person's life in the period after the operation. Since ozondicolysis is an outpatient procedure, patients have the opportunity to go home on the day of treatment and to go back to work within a week.
