We have asked this double Hall of Fame candidate to tell more about his life, current projects, visions and of course his spectacular, inspiring martial arts presentations.

emv! good morning and thank you for taking the time to speak to us.

Dr.stanharris: pleasure is mine.

emv !: Can you tell us more about your background?

Dr. Stan Harris: I have two brothers and two half -brothers. We grew up in a single -family house in the projects (Smith Holmes) in Harrisburg, PA, affected by cockroaches and mice. I remember that I woke up with huge water bug that crawled around on my face! When I played on a playground at the age of 6, jumped, struck, teased and fed me up a gang of teenagers. They left me in a field. Someone found me and took me to the hospital before I suffocated the thick tar. I grew up with the question of whether it is interested in someone, I have never heard the words "I love you". I was neglected, confused and abused - verbally, emotionally, sexually and physically. I was beaten with a steel folding chair over the back and head and a chain (for a dog) from my mother's hands - of course without her knowledge.

emv !: You are a survivor. How did your interest in karate and martial arts in general come about?

Dr. Stan Harris: One day my mother won a free karate month (Shotokan karate). She liked that so much that she trained for a while. One day she got into an argument with her friend who had physically abused me. She struck him passed out with a side step against the pine. My brothers and I looked at each other shocked. We went to the man on the floor who was besides himself, and said: "Whatever you do, don't put on my mom anymore, because my mom is bad, husband; my mom is bad." The event impressed me so much that I started training at the Isshin’ryu Karate, hoping that I would learn to protect myself and one day to become a champion and to get the attention that I longed for as a younger child.

emv !: would you say that the realization that you can strengthen yourself by using the principles of martial arts has sparked your wish to help others strengthen yourself in your daily life?

Dr. Stan Harris: yes. You (the trainers) taught us to have self -discipline before we learn self -defense. We have learned that the greatest of all victories is the conquest of one's own self. I wanted my newly discovered strength to channel my anger and frustration into something productive with others. I also wanted others to experience the newly found improved self -image that goes hand in hand with self -control and services.

EMV !: Dr. Stan, what are the visions that you think of making your wish to make a contribution?

Dr. Stan Harris: I see 100 missionaries support. I always wanted to be the role model for others that I personally never had. The power of expectation and belief by someone we respect and admire can release large amounts of retired strength. I also imagine to continue offering health seminars across the country (USA).

emv !: I hear the passion in her words, Dr. Stan. Most people they know, and even those who only know them and their work distant describe them with the word "passionately". Is passion that you work every day?

Dr. Stan Harris: Certainly. A woman met me at the airport and said: "Whatever you do, I want to be part of it because she radiates so much compassion and power." Like John Wesly once, I lit myself and people come and watch me burn!

emv !: whose advice did you benefit the most?

Dr. Stan Harris: In addition to the Bible William E. Bailey, who also looked after Jim Rohn, Les Brown and others.

emv !: Your lectures often contain a dynamic demonstration of the martial arts. Surprisingly, they break 22 inch bricks with their bare hands by using incredible speed and strength. Can you describe the effects it has on your audience?

Dr. Stan Harris: because our generation is so visual. I like to use visual aids with which you can identify to give my message additional effect. People are often enchanted and they really understand that we can break through our limits, no matter how hard or difficult!

emv !: This certainly draws a picture. Can you give us some examples that show how people have changed for the better after seeing their groundbreaking presentation?

Dr. Stan Harris: Here is what Rita Graves from Texas said:

"Dr. Stan Harris was so inspiring! He has touched my heart enormously. Words cannot tell you how grateful I was that I had the opportunity to meet and speak. Wow ... We were able to feel all his enthusiasm! It has our hearts, thoughts and souls with inspiration, motivation, motivation, empowerment, knowledge, strength and success. are worth that will still come. ”

ned rae said: "Dr. Stan Harris, who taught us all, how we mastered our fears and have a life-changing" breakthrough "when we all broke on the back with our fear. We see each other from the age of 8 to 81-year-olds to take their first step beyond their fears by breaking the board by hand, a real "breakthrough" was worth the costs of participation. "

Cheryl Rae, Executive Director of your company, reported her CEO:

But when I saw it an 8-year-old boy, 81 years old, does it ... that's it. If you could, I could do it with Dr. done!

EMV !: Dr. Stan, it is not surprising that your workshops and presentations are in demand. Tell us; Who will help you deal with the numerous daily occasions and invitations to lectures that you meet again and again?

Dr. Stan Harris: At the moment I do everything myself; But I will have to find someone who takes care of it because the requirements are too big. I try to keep a personal touch as long as possible.

emv !: On which projects are you working?

dr. Stan Harris: Cynthia Kersey (author of the bestseller "Unstopable" and the latest "Unstopable Women") and I are co-authors of a book entitled "Celebrating Unstopable African Americans". In addition, Jack Zugel, author of another number one bestseller, The DNA of Success, and I produce a CD series with the title How To Be a Black Belt in your Business.
